With a growing focus on developing successful export strategies, Made in the Midlands is pleased to be linking up with the Department for International Trade (DIT) at this year’s MIM exhibition.

DIT has signed up to be International Trade partner for the exhibition to offer members help with their overseas trade policies.

This year's exhibition takes place at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on June 21 and will feature displays by more than 200 MIM members.

The DIT helps UK businesses export and grow into global markets and its services are provided in more than 100 markets throughout the world.

Visitors to Stand 86 can find out more about the ERDF SME International Growth Project, which is being developed in partnership with the Department for International Trade, and learn about the support available to help businesses grow internationally.

The support package includes:

  •           access to financial support and advice to internationalise a business (subject to eligibility)
  •           grants of between £1,000 and £3,000 (up to 50% of total cost of activity, subject to availability)
  •           access to a programme of export training events, meet the buyer sessions, overseas trade visits and more

Visitors to Stand 86 can talk to an International Trade Adviser who can support their business on its international journey. This ensures companies are making the most of the support available while growing and succeeding on a global scale.
