Made in the Midlands champions more women into manufacturing

Made in the Midlands is asking manufacturing firms across the region, to put their female engineers forward for this year's Made in the Midlands awards.

Firms can nominate an employee, or directly apply for the inaugural Female Engineer of the Year Award. This award is aimed at encouraging more women into engineering and will be presented by Richard Noble, OBE on the 22nd October.

Applicants are open to all women who work in industry, the award recognises achievements made in showing innitiative, innovation, engineering competence and the ability to be a role model.
