We know the Made in the Midlands annual exhibition is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Midlands’ industrial calendar - and we also know that the members exhibiting are always keen to make a good impression on visitors.
Several firms exhibiting at this year’s event are pulling out all the stops to make sure their stands are amongst the most eye-catching on display.
With hundreds of firms taking part, this is no mean feat.
We always encourage our members to look their best in order to promote themselves. So, as an added incentive for members appearing at this year’s show - and to promote a little healthy rivalry, Made in the Midlands is pleased to announce that it will be running a special competition at this year’s event to reward Best Stand in Show.
And there is an outstanding prize on offer to the lucky winner - a full hospitality package, courtesy of Wasps, for two people to watch a Wasps rugby match of their choice at the Ricoh Arena.
What’s included? The winners will be taken to the Legends Lounge where they will be treated to a gastro-style lunch, pre-match insight from a Wasps player, access to an exclusive cash bar, a complimentary match day programme, complimentary tea and coffee and direct access to Block F seating.
The prize is subject to availability and applies to home fixtures in the 2018/19 season. The prize must be redeemed by December 31 2018 and excludes Category A games.
As if this wasn’t enough, Wasps have also kindly donated two grandstand tickets for a game of their choice to the runners-up in the contest. Same conditions apply.
On the day of the exhibition - June 21 - we will be asking members to tweet pictures of their stands to #MIMEXPO2018 and then the entries will be judged at the end of the day with the winner announced at the summer drinks reception during the evening.
Jason Pitt, CEO, Made in the Midlands, said: “We know our members are always up for a challenge and a little healthy competition is also good.
“It just remains for me to wish everyone all the best - and may the best member win.”
