With Fridays nomination deadline fast approaching were looking ahead to the actual Made in the Midlands awards next month where we will celebrate the very best manufacturing achievements in the region.
Now in their sixth year, this is one of the highlights of the Made in the Midlands calendar and an opportunity for members to network and celebrate their own success and share in the success of others. The awards give true recognition for investment, innovation, growth, export and diversity across the sector.
Chief Operating Officer Charles Addison said: Our well established awards have become a fixture that our members really look forward to. They kick off a busy autumn for us with the launch of our new magazine for manufacturers and the planning of our members trip to Westminster.
Once again the standard of entries is incredibly high and the winners will be looking to emulate last years champion Rugby based Automotive Insulations.
Managing Director Jim Griffin enthused: We were delighted to have our success formally recognised by winning not one, but two awards at the Made in the Midlands awards. The region is such an important hub for manufacturing and industry, so the competition is always pretty stiff.
They take place on Thursday 16th October in the main auditorium at Wolverhampton Science Park. As before, they are on between 8.30am and midday allowing (by request) the winners, nominees and assembled audience the opportunity to return to work.
The winners will feature in the inaugural Made in the Midlands magazine that will be distributed free to manufacturers across the region in mid-November.To book your place at this years awards and networking go to http://www.madeinthemidlands.com/events/12702430311
