Made in the Midlands face the prospect of facilitating a record amount of Breakfast events before the end of this calendar year, with the aim of strengthening relationships amongst manufacturing companies within the Midlands region.
Our most recent event took place at Boneham & Turner Ltd in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The event broke the previous record of the most attendees to any previous Breakfast event within the East Midlands region. Managing Director, Charles Boneham advised: Id recommend anybody hosting one if you have the opportunity to do it. We would gladly host one again. I think these events are really good at getting people through the doors.
Boneham & Turners event attracted 46 attendees with a vested interest within the manufacturing and engineering sector to their premises in the East Midlands. Our company attendance record for Breakfast events was set by Salop Design and Engineering Ltd on 26th November, 2015 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire when they attracted 58 attendees to their premises.
This record is destined to be broken before the beginning of next year, as S M B Pressings Ltd Breakfast event which is set to be host on 30th June has already sold over 65 tickets. This is a huge testament to the growth of Made in the Midlands and the popularity of these events. Our events provide attendees with a great opportunity to meet other Made in the Midlands members.
However, S M Bs reign may only last several weeks, as Threeway Pressings Ltd event set for 21st July has a limit set at 80 tickets. If Threeway manage to get anywhere close to this figure, they will be setting a huge precedent for other companies on how many influential people can be attracted through the doors of local manufacturing companies. Our breakfast events provide MDs and CEOs with a relaxed platform to discuss future business or potential collaborations with new businesses.
Made in the Midlands CEO, Jason Pitt concluded: This year, we have eclipsed all previous records set at the company. We hosted our largest exhibition ever this year and our breakfast event records are continually being broken. Boneham and Turner hosted a fantastic event for the East Midlands region earlier this year. S M B and Threeway will be in contention this summer to break our company records for Breakfast events, which will be a fantastic achievement for Made in the Midlands.
