And it will be a truly Midlands affair, with a strong contingent of firms from the East Midlands taking part.

The company is preparing to celebrate its 40th anniversary and during its four decades, has undergone significant change.

Starting off producing prototypes and test pieces for the aerospace industry, the company has invested significantly in CNC tools and CAD systems that has enabled it to assist its customers with product development and small to medium batch work.

The company will be exhibiting on Stand 209 where it will highlight how its use of computerised system enables it to offer traceability of all parts and materials as standard.

Also from Nottingham is TQC. The company, which will be exhibiting on Stand 214, provides special purpose, innovative turnkey solutions for all manufacturing industries with the aim of improving safety, throughput, efficiency and quality.

With the experience of more than 25 years in business, the company designs and supplies assembly automation and testing equipment, all from its East Midlands factory, which it has set up as a one-stop-shop for bespoke automated solutions.

TQC solutions are used in industry sectors including automotive, medical/pharmaceutical and aerospace & defence.

Staff manning the stand will be offering advice to those needing help with specialist equipment - specifically automatic assembly, leak testing or production line automation.

Completing the East Midlands triumvirate is Chesterfield-based Power Service Systems, which is a manufacturer of high quality heat exchanger baskets.

The company, based at a 34,000sq ft manufacturing facility which also includes the last surviving production line from TEI Green, also offers complete turnkey solutions for a variety of trades and industries including power production, power distribution, cement distribution, quarries, biomass, paper, sugar manufacturing and waste to energy.

For the food sector, the company manufactures and installs conveyor systems and also provides  plant relocation services.
