With the transfer window now shut, we are delighted to bring in a new team member to work in the East Midlands.

Brenda Lowden joins as Digital Media and Membership Executive in the region to reflect the growth of Made in the Midlands over the past 12 months.

Brenda will be responsible for extending the reach across the East Midlands and adding to the existing core of Made in the Midlands members there.

Chief Operating Officer Charles Addison said: “Brenda is a vastly experienced operator and it’s something of a coup to bring her into our team. She will be instrumental in raising the awareness of the excellent work that manufacturers do in the East Midlands.”

The appointment comes in a busy time for MIM, we have launched our own industry focused magazine, announced series of hyper-local breakfast club networking sessions, opened satellite offices in Birmingham and the East Midlands and are planning a members only lobbying visit to Westminster.

Brenda added: “I can’t wait to get started, alongside world class automotive and aerospace giants the East Midlands has an amazing variety of SMEs working across very different sectors. I’m especially looking forward to establishing a dedicated annual expo and an awards ceremony on this side of the region.”
