Made in the Midlands has joined forces with the Express & Star to work together on a new quarterly magazine specially for the manufacturing community across the region.
The Made in the Midlands magazine will be delivered directly to the managing directors of key manufacturers and will contain news, interviews and opinion specifically tailored to an industrial audience.
Made in the Midlands CEO Jason Pitt said: This is a really exciting project. MIM has a strong publishing heritage and our members tell us that although digital content is an inevitable part of todays communication mix, they actually prefer something they can pick up and read. This new magazine will tick all the boxes for them.
Darren Griffin, group business manager at MNA publisher of the Express & Star and Shropshire Star added: This is an exciting opportunity for manufacturers across the Midlands and we will be playing our role in encouraging them to share their news and opinions with like-minded companies across the region. Good news is our focus as we join Made in the Midlands in celebrating all that is best in manufacturing across this region. And we hope it will also provide a positive voice for the industry.
The first issue released in November will centre around the Made in the Midlands awards celebrating the success of manufacturers.
Jason Pitt concluded: Manufacturers in Midlands are the key drivers of economic growth nationally and were going to bang the drum on their behalf to ensure they get the recognition they deserve.
