Made in the Midlands has toasted the success of members recognised at this year’s In-Comm Training awards.

Top honours went to Birmingham-based presswork and stampings company, Brandauer, which was awarded the prestigious Employer of the Year award.

The firm, part of the MAN Group of sub-contractors, is a big supporter of MIM and as part of its commitment to improve training standards, is one of the early adopters of MIM’s new Inclusivity campaign.

You can check out the latest developments at MAN by visiting the MIM annual Expo at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on June 21.

Representing the group on Stand 237 will be constituent members Kimber Mills International and Muller England.

With hundreds of Made in the Midlands members exhibiting and thousands of ticket registrations, this year’s event promises to be the best expo to date.

As well as being a fitting showcase for the great work being carried out by manufacturers across the region, the expo will also provide one of the largest networking opportunities of its kind this year.

By attending you will be guaranteed exposure to one of the largest manufacturing networking opportunities to be found anywhere.

It’s still not too late to attend so to make sure you don’t miss out, register for your ticket here.

Brandauer was not the only MIM member recognised at the In-Comm awards, IMI Precision Engineering was also Highly Commended in the Employer of the Year category.

IMI Precision Engineering will also be exhibiting at the expo; you can check out developments at the company - as well as its training regimes - by visiting Stand 178.

Jason Pitt, CEO, Made In group said: “We offer our congratulations to both Brandauer and IMI Precision Engineering for their success and to In-Comm as well for symbolising what Made in the Midlands is all about - successful collaboration for mutual benefit.

“There will be plenty more examples in evidence at our annual exhibition and so I would encourage anyone who hasn’t signed up yet to register for the event on June 21 as soon as possible so they can see for themselves what Made in the Midlands stands for.”

Finally, we must also offer our congratulations to Made in the Midlands’ own Business Administrator Laura Rogers who was shortlisted but ultimately pipped at the post for the Learner of the Year - Business Support title.

In-Comm Training will also be exhibiting at the Expo, visit them on Stand 196.

Don’t forget to register here for our annual expo.
