The 2018 Made in the Midlands Manufacturing Exhibition at Ricoh Arena in June has announced a major partnership with Freeman EMEA - the world's largest brand experience company. Established 90 years ago, American based Freeman have been delivering world class exhibitions for decades and this year at Ricoh Arena, world-class events experts will be taking on the opportunity of championing world-class manufacturing with industry experts Made in the Midlands.

The Ricoh 2018 show will be the 9th annual manufacturing summit, celebrating Midlands industry - where more than half of the value-add SME, tier one and OEM manufacturing community within 100 miles of the Ricoh will be in attendance, including exhibitors Mahle, Ricoh, Gestamp, Liberty Group, Arlington Group, Kloeckner, Dura, Dennis Eagle and 300 others.

"We're coming up to our 10th year of creating increasingly successful manufacturing focused annual events for Made in the Midlands where we are providing the sector with a platform to share all things great about manufacturing and engineering in the region. The exciting figure is that these events are growing at 30% annually and it shows how successful the event is when every firm that exhibited last year has re-booked for the opportunity to show again. This year, it's a major statement of intent that the exhibition operation is being managed by world-class suppliers", commented Jason Pitt, CEO.

In addition to this investment which will transform the visitor experience, the exhibition platform which Made in the Midlands are using for its exhibitors are allowing firms to customise their stand and ensure all logistics of exhibiting are smooth and painless. This allows the 300 Made in the Midlands members and sponsors currently signed up to Made in the Midlands 2018, the luxury of focusing on developing new business connections and supplier opportunities.

"Manufacturers feel that the exhibition model globally is under scrutiny for value and time - it felt that this predominantly down to the time and investment required to be part of large events which tend to be ad-hoc. We've found that our members value that this exhibition is part of a wider events schedule of 30 other relevant manufacturing networking and best practice opportunities in 2018 - the opportunity to come out and meet the great and the good in your sector, on your doorstep under the banner of supporting the ethos and spirit of manufacturing excellence in the region makes a lot of sense" commented Charles Addison, Director of Made in the Midlands.

"We've conducted research that it takes numerous points of contact to create new relationships, face to face is just one of them - but this exhibition links together perfectly with a measurable and tasteful schedule of online profile, best practice events, networking and social media - which is why hundreds of our members keep coming back to support the event and the investment made to bring in Freeman reflects the quality that Midlands manufacturing deserves.
