Over the coming months you will notice some improvements to the Made in the Midlands model.
One of these is the introduction of the Made in the Midlands Council made up from the membership and sub committees around innovative themes. We are inviting member engagement on a strategic level to help all members and would value input from those people that are willing to give a little extra time to the cause.
From the council and sub committees we will appoint a president and vice president. These appointments will be voluntary and help voice the concerns and aspirations of manufacturing to a wide audience.
The president will serve a one-year term and be succeeded by the vice president. The rotation of this means that a larger number of key members will get the chance to become president of Made in the Midlands.
The President's role will help raise the membership profile but also add a lot of value to whoever takes on the role as the PR generated throughout the year will be considerable.

You can of course upgrade if this is a problem. The first meeting will be 6th August. A one vote per member system will be used to decide the appointment.
