Made in the Midlands recently held a breakfast networking event at HELLER Machine Tools' state of the art production facility in Redditch, attended by over 50 members.

The event proved to be a fantastic morning of networking, a factory tour and a special talk by Managing Director Matthius Meyer regarding the history of the company and its' ambitions for the future. HELLER was founded in 1894 as a small craftsman’s workshop in Germany and began its UK operation in 1974.

Today it is a world leading manufacturer with 2,470 employees, the group develops and produces state-of-the-art machine tools and entire production systems for metal-cutting processes. The HELLER product range comprises 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers, CNC mill/turning centers, CNC machines for crankshaft and camshaft machining, flexible manufacturing systems and a modular range of services.
