Made in the Midlands welcomed over 100 members, patrons and associates who networked at their new media launch in Birmingham.

The membership organisation for manufacturers was celebrating their investment in a new look website and a magazine that from November will be sent free to manufacturers across the region.

Sponsored by digital partner Growth Accelerator and associates Lloyds Bank and Business Birmingham the event at the city’s Hotel du Vin brought businesses from across the region together in a social setting.

Lee Edmunds, Process Improvement Consultant at Concurrent Engineering said: “Having only joined the group in June of this year this was a great opportunity to meet and network with the other members in relaxed surroundings. We came away with four meetings in the diary and several contacts we can discuss future collaboration opportunities with.”

Christopher Greenough, Director of Salop Design & Engineering Ltd added: "It was a fantastic evening, with everybody talking about manufacturing and business within the Midlands. Simply a great night and great event - Thanks to the MIM Team.”

MIM President Graham Yeomans of Yeoman Pressings enthused: "I thought the turnout was excellent. There was a definite buzz as there were so many like-minded, positive people all in one place!"

Made in the Midlands Chief Operating Officer Charles Addison concluded: “Our organisation connects passionate people and gives them a collective voice. We’ve had some amazing feedback and we can’t wait to plan the next one.”
