The Made in the Midlands annual exhibition is now just days away and once again, the event promises to be a major showcase for the Midlands’ manufacturing talent.

Hundreds of firms are exhibiting at the event, which takes place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Thursday (June 21).

In addition, hundreds of visitors are expected to attend the event and to make sure you don’t miss out on what they will be seeing, register for your ticket here.

Here’s a few more examples of some of the great firms exhibiting.

Coventry-based Direct Air and Pipework is one of the members having the shortest distance to travel to this year’s exhibition.

The company, which operates out of a base at the Binley Industrial Estate, is making its debut at the event but it will be out to make an impression with visitors - not least because the event coincides with Clean Air Day.

The firm, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, has grown over the years to become a leading supplier of compressed air solutions.

As it has grown, the company has expanded its service provision to include the design, supply, installation and services for companies across the UK.

The expansion has seen the company grow its workforce to 40 employees and in order to add the capacity needed, it purchased the 15,000 sq ft base in Binley in 2014.

The additional capacity allows for an increased stock of machinery and genuine parts, while an in-house generator permits the testing of compressor performance and flow rates.

Direct Air, which has also rebranded to celebrate its silver jubilee, is looking forward to welcoming visitors to Stand 94.

JPC Perforators will be using the exhibition to showcase its stainless steel tube perforation and manipulation solutions.

The Bromsgrove-based firm is part of UKF Group, which also includes UK Stainless. The latter is a major stockist and supplier of welded stainless steel tube, stainless steel exhaust tube, stainless steel sheet, stainless steel bar and other stainless steel products used in the automotive, decorative, dairy, water, marine, fabrication and petrochemical industries.

The group will be exhibiting on Stand 144, where it will also be talking about additional services including cutting, perforating and polishing stainless steel.

Remember, it’s still not too late to join in, just register for your ticket here.
