Recently we worked with a policyholder who suffered a fire in a factory arising from a substation attack. The potential loss was huge, they had suffered a total loss of power supplied to their premises. The appointed loss adjuster was unable to attend until very late in the afternoon which would have meant several valuable hours would have been lost. MPM were on hand from the early morning to give the required assurances and guide the customer through the claim process in order to begin restoration of electricity supply.
We are proud that this customer was able to meet orders within 3 days and lost no business as a result of direct and immediate response to the fire. This was a massive achievement to the customer’s credit but they felt that they could not have acted with the same confidence as they did without their broker being on hand to give the correct advice.
We believe that an insurance programme works when it is tailored to the customer and knowing this, it gives a firm foundation to build upon and great confidence when faced with a loss.
It is all too common that we find errors and incorrect cover in a customer’s insurance programme when we are invited in to review and quote. It surprises many customers when we draw these issues to their attention.
Not all policies are the same and neither are Insurance Brokers. We are passionate about what we do and strive towards a higher standard with the aim of delivering excellence.
