Made in the Midlands is widely recognised as the leading industry support group in the region, representing more than 400 of the Midlands top manufacturing businesses.
Now, to help grow the group further - and recognise the outstanding contribution being made by our dedicated advocates - we are honouring their efforts with the launch of a new membership category, that of Ambassador.
Ambassadors will be nominated by other MIM members or by Made in the Midlands itself; the title recognises a person who has consistently advocated the benefits of membership and gone above and beyond in their efforts to grow the MIM network.
The criteria for becoming a MIM Ambassador:
- Be a MIM member for at least two years
- Attend and support Made in the Midlands events
- Be willing to speak at our events and pass on the benefits of their knowledge to other members
- Introduce two new members into the group each year
In return, Made in the Midlands will invite Ambassadors to special VIP events, boost their thought leadership credentials by creating bespoke opportunities to speak to new members and in doing so, singling them out as the go-to person in their group.
The exclusive group will also receive an award recognising their contribution and this will be presented to recipients at our VIP drinks event and awards ceremony on Wednesday 20th June. The reception, which takes place between 6-8pm, will be will be held in the Jaguar Lounge of the Ricoh Arena.
Members exhibiting and attending this event are advised to either book the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel, which is based within the Ricoh Arena, or a nearby venue in order to make the most of this exclusive networking event.
Is there someone you believe deserves recognition this year? You can nominate yourself or a fellow member by emailing us their contact details, together with a short explanation why they should be conferred MIM Ambassador status, to [email protected]
We look forward to receiving your nominations!
