Salop Powder Coating and Hayley Group set to host January breakfast events

This year, Made in the Midlands are aiming to host a record-breaking amount of member breakfast mornings throughout 2017 to further strengthen the communal spirit within the manufacturing sector.

Our first breakfast morning of the year will be hosted at the premises of Salop Powder Coating in Shrewsbury, Shropshire on 19th January from 9:00am.

Last January, Salop hosted Anthea McIntyre, the West Midlands representative of the Conservative Party in European Parliament visited Salop Design & Engineering to discuss the implications of Britain leaving the European Union (EU).

Great Britain is now facing an imminent Brexit, after Theresa May stated that she will trigger Article 50 by the end of March 2017. Salop aim to welcome over 100 manufacturers to their premises actively grow their network and create future business opportunities.

Salop recently announced the fantastic detailed plans for a new state-of-the-art training hub in Shropshire were unveiled for the first time yesterday, with the aim of supporting ‘2020 learners by 2020’.

More than 100 local businesses and stakeholders attended the £3m Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology (MCMT) launch event in Bridgnorth to find out how they can play their role in helping it reverse the region’s skills and competency gaps.

Furthermore, Made in the Midlands Platinum members Hayley Group will be hosting a breakfast event on 26th January at their Dudley, West Midlands premises from 9:00am.

Last February, members were provided with an expansive tour of Hayley Group’s incredible 120,000 square feet factory in Halesowen, during their Breakfast Morning Networking event.

The company also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the company’s founding, and the launch of the new corporate website to support its brand identity in its fifth decade. The website’s easy navigation and enhanced approachability reflect the Hayley Group’s determination to remain responsive to their customers’ demands, and keep providing added value in the following decade.

As the company is formed of a chain of 40 branches, the visitors planning to visit their local branch will certainly benefit from the branch locator, carrying details of all branches, including the opening hours.
