All Employers need to be aware of the changes planned for 2017. This is your opportunity to hear about the changes first hand. Once you have the facts, it will give In-Comm and your Group Training Association the opportunity to explore how we may best support you to obtain the maximum benefit from these reforms.
- The apprenticeships programme is already successful and provides proven benefits to both employers and apprentices. For apprentices, it can equip them with the skills needed for a successful career and be a genuine alternative to going to University or even an opportunity to combine an apprenticeship with higher education. For employers, it can provide a highly efficient and effective means of developing the skills of their workforce.
- The Government has committed to growing the number of apprenticeships, reaching 3 million starts in 2020.
- The Trailblazer process ensures that the apprenticeship reform addresses the key areas for improvement from the Richards Review Putting employers in the driving seat, increasing the quality of apprenticeships, simplifying the system, and giving employers purchasing
- The new reforms will be explained and discussed in detail, along with details of how, as employers, you can be proactive in your sectors. The opportunity to ask questions will be available throughout the session.
