Made in the Midlands are delighted to announce Stewart Towe CBE, Managing Director of the UKs largest cold rollforming company Hadley Group as a seminar speaker at the 2017 Made in the Midlands Exhibition.
Stewart will deliver his presentation all about the Hadley Group. The exhibition takes place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on Thursday 25th May and is set to attract over 2,000 representatives of the Midlands manufacturing sector.
Made in the Midlands CEO, Jason Pitt said: We are thrilled to have such an influential industry-leader in Stewart Towe CBE speaking at our exhibition. Hadley are a global force and I am certain that local manufacturers and engineers will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience from his seminar.
In recent months, Hadley have been publishing a wealth of positive news. They created the Hadley UltraZEDTM 2 which is a revolutionary purlin and side rail system and also became the first rollforming company in the UK to have been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for Zero Waste to Landfill certificate.
Furthermore, Hadley renewed their support of the Engineering Education Schemes. The latest projects saw Research and Design Engineers Robert Ng and Rajiv Banik work closely with pupils from the Holyhead School, Birmingham.
Working with the students has been a really rewarding experience and its great that were able to contribute to the community in this way, said Robert. Were very happy with the progress made on the project; in fact were so pleased with the effort theyve put in that weve organised for three of the students to join us in the R&D team for additional work experience over the summer.
Additionally, Hadley have also been prominently working across the globe as they serve five continents from nine manufacturing hubs. Hadley exhibited at Architect Thailand 2017 and manufactured channels at Hadley Dubai for the TSK Group, who are completing the 200Mw Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park II in the United Arab Emirates. In Europe, Hadley announced the acquisition of Overeem BV in the Netherlands, in a move to strengthen their global reach and support their growth in the automotive sectors.
The Made in the Midlands exhibition runs from 9:00am until 16:00pm and Stewarts seminar will begin at 11:30am and an hour has been allocated to the slot. Make sure that you come along and learn all about Hadley Group.
